MARDUK Part Ways With Bassist, Announce Replacement
May 17, 2004Swedish black metallers MARDUK have parted ways with longtime bassist B.War. His replacement in the group is Magnus Devo Andersson, "a name that should ring a bell for all MARDUK fans as he was second guitar player on the first two albums ('Dark Endless' and 'Those of the Unlight')," according to a posting on the group's web site. "Because of the line up change the band will not be doing the Rock Hard festival on the 29th of may, but the festival in Turkey on the 3rd of July is still happening. MARDUK are currently working on the final details for their upcoming ninth full-length studio album. The band will enter the studio in July, and the album is set to be released in November. The album will be followed by a massive World tour."
